Hey Guy’s,
Hope you all had a good New Year and a Merry Xmas indeed. With that in mind I’d just like to say that we’re all back now in the office resuming (well actually we have been for the last few days), but anyway as a lot of you know, we are heavily involved with the development of applications for Market Me Tweet, being my other baby & business. As I’ve never...

Google Chrome finally decided to show its face around these parts, and by these parts I mean my Mac, and by face. I mean that it now works for Mac instead of being only for Windows.
All of this tomfoolery aside, it’s about bloody time that Google Chrome made a re-appearance after they’re orignal release for Mac which they quickly pulled because it didn’t actually work properly,...

So you are looking at getting windows 7 eh? Thinking this new fangled piece of operating is something that is worth shoving on ya computer box thing?
Well in short, if you are running Windows Vista, then yes I would highly recommend upgrading to Windows 7. It will increase the operating performance of your computer by a noticeable bit. The underlying code has been changed a bit here and a bit...

The early days, a much simpler time
I was always a hardcore windows user, I started with DOS, which is why I probably like linux, the console makes me very reminiscent of those days. But as I progressed through the versions of Microsoft Products – DOS versions to Windows 3.1, Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows 2000, Windows ME, Windows XP, Windows Vista, & lately, Windows 7 – one...

Some of you may be familiar with rapid prototyping. It is a concept i learnt from the Experimental gameplay project, specifically this article by Kyle Gabler, Kyle Gray (2D Boy, World of Goo), Matt Kucic, Shalin Shodhan.
Rapid Prototyping is a great way to develop new ideas quickly. I use rapid prototyping all the time whether it be in AS3 or Javascript, a game or an application. Whilst game and...

On last week’s Wednesday a Canadian firm successfully sued Microsoft for around £175 million for infringing on a patent and as a result of this Microsoft has been banned from selling Microsoft Word.
The reason for this ban and successful court case is because the latest version of Word uses XML as a file format. This is complete and utter lunacy and I suspect due to a large prejudice...

As you can imagine, I recieve a lot of emails, and most of them I don’t get around to replying to until its either too late, or someone is laying flowers at their graveside because they’ve died from the wait. Of course this isn’t deliberate, it’s just a fact of life that we get more emails than we can reply to, this usually comes from a combination of factors.
Spam...

As a whole, I’m adjusting the future, like an inmate out of prison getting a job in a super market bagging up groceries, then not couping with it and hanging myself in my room (sorry for the shoreshank redemption reference). But anyway, yeah I like vista, it’s not perfect, by any means. But there are some things which really bug me.
Tablet On Screen Keyboard when I login
Becuase I use...

Vista is often criticized for being a slower than a stoned snail, and more security conscious than my middle aged mother – and for a time I was completely anti-vista and to a point I still am. However with my recent addition my computing family. (Samsung R710) – I wanted to make it work. Main reason Windows annoys me is that there has hardly been an innovation in 10 years which...
