Hey Guy’s,
Hope you all had a good New Year and a Merry Xmas indeed. With that in mind I’d just like to say that we’re all back now in the office resuming (well actually we have been for the last few days), but anyway as a lot of you know, we are heavily involved with the development of applications for Market Me Tweet, being my other baby & business. As I’ve never...

Google Wave has been making big news recently, what with all the hype of its preview finally reaching the eyes of its adoring fans – and I finally got my hands on it too after my invite finally coming through.
I do admit that I was pretty excited, like a little school girl, giggling with the endless possibilities of collaboration that Google Wave had promised, but then I hit a few snags,...

The early days, a much simpler time
I was always a hardcore windows user, I started with DOS, which is why I probably like linux, the console makes me very reminiscent of those days. But as I progressed through the versions of Microsoft Products – DOS versions to Windows 3.1, Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows 2000, Windows ME, Windows XP, Windows Vista, & lately, Windows 7 – one...

Some of you may be familiar with rapid prototyping. It is a concept i learnt from the Experimental gameplay project, specifically this article by Kyle Gabler, Kyle Gray (2D Boy, World of Goo), Matt Kucic, Shalin Shodhan.
Rapid Prototyping is a great way to develop new ideas quickly. I use rapid prototyping all the time whether it be in AS3 or Javascript, a game or an application. Whilst game and...

After seeing screenshots appearing across the ‘interweb’ of people having apparent screenshots from the Android G1, I wanted to know how it was done. The alternative I actually considered? Taking a digital camera and then trying to photograph the screen. Yep.
So, I went in search of a tutorial to be able to do this. I found 1 or 2 which were OK, but they made it seem much more...

This is just a small post, but had to show this image of UK broadband speeds when compared to the rest of the world. Considering we are a pretty wealthy country who boasts some of the best services in the world (…), something has gone horribly wrong.
Here at Wuup, we’re connected to 20MB Virgin Broadband, but we still only get 0.7mb on upload. Upload is so badly throttled here...

Ello Again, wasn’t expecting to see me again so soon? Ha Tough I’m back.
Well from the title it’s pretty obvious what it’s about so I guess I’ll start with just a little back story. Once upon a time, there was a web design / developer / online marketeer (yeah a bit of a mouthful I know anyway…) and he got pretty fed up with using Microsoft products to do all...

Good bye! Good Riddance… Oh hello there you caught me unawares. Well really I’m writing this article on the G1 Android Phone, and the reason I’m saying good bye is because I sent off my really really sh*tty Nokia N96 off in the post to envirophone. I hated that phone so so much! Anyway, let me explain the story of how me and my dream phone were united…
In the beginning...

As you can imagine, I recieve a lot of emails, and most of them I don’t get around to replying to until its either too late, or someone is laying flowers at their graveside because they’ve died from the wait. Of course this isn’t deliberate, it’s just a fact of life that we get more emails than we can reply to, this usually comes from a combination of factors.
Spam...

As a whole, I’m adjusting the future, like an inmate out of prison getting a job in a super market bagging up groceries, then not couping with it and hanging myself in my room (sorry for the shoreshank redemption reference). But anyway, yeah I like vista, it’s not perfect, by any means. But there are some things which really bug me.
