Google & Your Data

Google often comes under fire when it comes to your privacy, and what it collects on you. We would like to hear your opinions on this? Should we give our data away for free? After all, google profits from your data, selling it on to its advertisers - We talk about this on the birth of a new form of Context aftertising. This is where google uses your searches to display its advertisers websites depending on keywords. For example, you search for:

laptops

The next few websites using its advertising affiliate network ‘adsense’ will display laptop related adverts.

Relevant yes, however, not only does it come at a premium to googles ‘Adwords’ customers, it also infringes on your rights? Or does it.

Personally, I dont like the idea, and seeing adverts relating to what you have been searching on, i personally find a bit creepy.

Where will the google giant end?
