Hey all,
Here in the office, me and my humble PC running Windows 7 64bit are the victims of bullies. My wee screen is dwarfed by the iron curtain that is the series of monitors slicing the room in two. Yep, it’s so bright in here from all the grey windows in Snow Leopard that we never turn a light on.
Apple is everywhere for some reason. And to make things worse, we’ve got an iPhone flying about too…
On a side note, Alan’s MacBook has just suffered a massive crash, taking out his internal clock and his pride. Heh.
Back on topic, while I gaze into the diseased case of my machine (the panels are off the last graphics card was replaced), I reflect on my decision…
I’ve ordered an iPod Touch, and I’m going to jailbreak the hell out of it.

As any techy navigating the web recently would have heard, Apple have been stepping on the toes of biig companies they should be holding hands with before skipping merrily down the lane of advancement. Take the Adobe/Apple arguement for example. As Alan wrote in a post recently, they pulled support for Flash support on the iPhone 2 days before the CS5 launch…that’s not nice.
So, before the next iPhone OS comes out – 4.0 – I’ve decided to push the ugly/cool iPhone OS that exists on the iPod Touch to the brink, and just see how far the jailbreaking community has gone, and, more hilariously, how much comedic fist shaking, teeth grinding and general grumbling Jobs is doing when he Googles ‘iPhone’. Yeah, thinking he’ll be presented with a platter of positive discussion on his empire, there in the middle will sit the dirty turd of defiance – ‘Jaielbreayk teh eyeFoen Supa Easzy!!!11ONE’
I’ll let you know how I get on in my lonely Windows corner of the office…
Oh and I forgot to mention, we build iPhone OS and Android apps!
Bye
